哈里梅根带宝宝正式亮相，官宣名字竟是……大家都没想到！

话说这几天，英国王室最大的喜事儿肯定就是哈里梅根迎来了他们的第一个孩子啦~（戳这里回顾）

英国民众们为了猜新晋王室宝宝的姓名也是费尽了心思……还好，小两口没有让大家苦等太久：

据BBC最新消息，英国王室公布了梅根和哈里宝宝的名字——阿奇↓↓↓

苏塞克斯公爵夫妇为他们新出生的儿子取名叫阿奇·哈里森·蒙巴顿-温莎。

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have named their newborn son Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor.

在公布宝宝的名字前，哈里梅根的官方Instagram账号上也发布了一家三口的正式亮相：

在亮相温莎城堡的整个三分钟的拍摄过程中，哈里王子一直紧紧地把儿子抱在怀里，很有好爸爸的风范，而梅根身穿一条白色连衣裙，看起来气色不错，依偎在哈里身边甜蜜地看着父子俩。

第一次携子亮相的梅根表示：“他是最温和最乖巧的小宝贝了，安安静静的。他就是一个梦。”

Introducing him to the cameras earlier in the day, Meghan said: "He has the sweetest temperament, he's really calm. He's been the dream."

新晋娃爹哈里王子表示：“也不知道是像谁……”两口子简直笑得合不拢嘴。

As they laughed, Prince Harry said: "I don't know who he gets that from."

升级为父母才几天，梅根表示：“这种感觉太神奇，真的棒呆了！我现在拥有了世界上最棒的两个男人！”

Talking about their first few days as parents, Meghan said: "It's magic, it's pretty amazing. I have the two best guys in the world so I'm really happy."

The duke added: "It's great. Parenting is amazing. It's only been two and a half days, three days, but we're just so thrilled to have our own little bundle of joy."

在正式官宣宝宝名字前，伊丽莎白二世女王与菲利普亲王首次在温莎城堡见到了他们的第八个重孙。

之前关于小家伙的名字，网友们给出了各种版本的猜测。据美国有线电视新闻网（CNN）消息，尽管没有固定的取名规则，但英国王室一直热衷于使用先人的名称来向祖辈致以敬意，Bookmakers网站排名最高的三个选择——Arthur ，Edward, Philip都没有成为王室新宝宝名字的最终选择。

While there are no rules for choosing names, the British royal family likes to honor those who came before them. Bookmakers had Arthur and Edward, as well as Philip (a nod to Harry's grandfather), among their top choices for a newborn son. But none of these made the cut.

CNN记者通过检索大英百科全书学术版和王室官方网站的数据，一直追溯到1066年，发现Archie Harrison除了与16世纪的安格斯六世伯爵Archibald Douglas的名字有一点相似之外，Archie和Harrison都没有在任何英国君主及其直系后代的名字中出现过。

Archie Harrison may not have any precedent in the royal family, apart from Archibald Douglas, the 6th Earl of Angus who was Scotland's King James V's stepfather until Margaret Tudor, the elder sister of England's Henry VIII, divorced him in the 16th century. But digging further back to 1066, using data from Britannica Academic and the monarchy's official website, CNN has not found the name Archie or Harrison among the names of any British monarch and their immediate offspring.

作为萨塞克斯公爵（哈里）的第一个儿子，小家伙本来可以有权使用他父亲的其中一个贵族头衔“邓巴顿伯爵”，但他的父母表示不会为他使用。而是被称为Master Archie Mountbatten-Windsor.

As the first born son of a duke, Archie could have become Earl of Dumbarton - one of Harry's subsidiary titles, but instead he will simply be Master Archie Mountbatten-Windsor.

However, when Prince Charles becomes King, Prince Harry's son will automatically become His Royal Highness Prince Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor.

相较于美国，阿奇这个名字在英国更为流行，意为诚恳、勇敢，最早是Archibald的简写。

Archie means "genuine","bold" or "brave" - and is more popular in Britain than the US. It was originally a shortened form of Archibald but is now often used as a name on its own.

而中间名哈里森（Harrison）意为哈里的孩子，是在致敬哈里王子。

And, rather fittingly, Harrison - a name which was originally used as a surname - means "son of Harry".

蒙巴顿-温莎这个姓氏起源于1960年，其中温莎来自女王，而蒙巴顿则来自菲利普亲王。

Mountbatten-Windsor is the surname which was created in 1960, combining the surnames of the Queen and Prince Philip when they married.

伦敦一个地铁站也调皮了起来，用改名为“Marble Archie &Archie Way”的方式庆祝小王子拥有了属于自己的姓名。
